My sum of 5 hit today. Much smarter to play sums and box them for big bucks. Want to hit a low sum str8, eg; sum 5 has 6 numbers to box or 56 to ways to play str8. I usually spend 24.00 and buy each number 4.00 or I could spend 56.00 and get them all 50/50 and win 2,700.00 or 3,100.00. I rather box them for all that money and cash in a ton of 200.00 tickets or 600.00 tickets.

But if you're going to spend 2500 dollars just go play real roulette, preferabbly European roulette.

Lottery's house edge is 50 percent where the worst roulette tables edge is 5.26 percent, and anEuropean table is half that. This is just a bad idea because if you win, you only double up for that one in 4 chance.

Don't do that, especially if you aren't playing online. Take that money to the casino or something, and if you play 8 or 9 numbers you have about the same chance to and you'd win much more.

Or relax and draw it our in blackjack or poker or some other table games. I play pick 3 everyday, but I only spend at most 5 dollars a draw (usually 2) because it's just not a good bet to make in the first place.

LOL..........BY THE WAY........... there are 10,000 combos. You're playing only 2,500 but for a buck each way, so your win on str8 would be $5,000, BUT you're only giving yourslef a 25% chance to win right? I rather play sums! ! There are only 37 sums including sum 0, so just pick a few of them and play all the sums to that number. OR my idea would be to play all the pairs, box them for 0.50 each and win $400 multiple times over for each bet.

I don't know how I'd feel about betting $2500 and winning only $5k. I would not want to wait for a check, would not want to pay taxes and not sure I'd want to fill all the slips out either. Filling out 24,440 spots was really nerve racking.

same here but i know how I'd feel about betting $2500.00 and winning nothing

So this would take you how long to fill out the playslips? I have wheeled 4,888 tickets on Treasure Hunt in Pennsylvania and we came ahead $8,600 each before taxes but that's only when the jackpot was high but three other players won so it was a big gamble.

I don't know how I'd feel about betting $2500 and winning only $5k.
