C1 - 012 D1- =Value(mid(C1,1,2)) E1- =Value(mid(C1,2,2)) F1- =Value(left(C1) Value(mid(C1,3,1)

This basically puts the pairs in the order they came out in cells D1, E1, F1

I'm no expert in excel....maybe somone can tell you different

For you to find matching pairs it's better to line the numbers up from lowest to highest. This way the smaller number is on the left and the results will show you the matching pairs.

Question let's say cell C1 you have 012 and in cell C2 you have 357 and cell C3 you have 067 and in cell C4 you have 061? How do you go through the columns and pick out the matching pairs and put them in another cell maybe D1 and D2 ect? As long as the pairs match they can be boxed or straight it doesn't matter? Also let's say you have 7 pick 4 numbers in different cells. 4456, 7899,1234,5678,7688,4322,1563 how can you search through the cells and only pick the double numbers not the whole pick... [ More ]
