For Lotto Buster, you can create a flat file (.txt file) if you have the data (dates and numbers) in an Excel file already. Make sure that you have the date column first, and right click at the top of the date column and change the format to Custom and enter a custom format of MM/DD/YYYY. Once you've done that, all you need to do is to save the excel file as a Tex (MS-DOS) .txt file. Yu can Import that file directly into snip .

hey man

the best way to avoid this kind of situation

are using Virtual CD software.

just backup u CD one time and put in safe place.

so next time u going to run CD is frm Virtual Drive in u computer.

File sent. As I said, importing worked fine, but I built the database from scratch as I don't play Fantasy5 so be careful, make a backup of your existing database before importing, in case something goes wrong (and lotto buster has kinda mind of his own), you can restore from there.

There are actually 6551 drawing in the fantasy five game. The california lottery website has a text file that can be download and I have that but cannot get it formated correctly to work. GRRRR

click fantasy 5 and past draws are on the right side of page. I did manage to get my files that I lost back. I now have all the drawing up to 3-21-2011. Still a daunting task to add close to 300 drawings by hand. LOl...

I wipped the dust from my lotto buster CD and imported drawings for my croatian pick 6/45 lottery, thought i'd give it another try. While I was at it, went to fantasy 5 homepage and found a .txt file with 6470 drawings (is that the correct number of drawings until 12/10/2011?), anyways, tweaked a little bit that file and imported into lotto buster. Yes, there is a way to do that, it is called it a flat file and I have not been able to get it to add a text file. Every time I try it says there is something wrong with the file delimiter. I wonder if there is a program that can convert it to a I also just looked at my database nnumbers for calif fantasy 5 and for som e reason I now only have number up to January 2009. I cannot imagine ading all of 2009, 2010, and most of 2011 by hand.

Nope, they used to update databases on a daily basis.

I think there's an option to import data from plain text file, but it's from memory, haven't used lotto buster for ages. It should be in the help file, sorry I couldn't help you more.

I know they are out of business but I thought updates were still available.

It would take me weeks to update by hand. I have not done an update since March. UGH... My profram won't even upon the databases to update. I was under the impression that the updates come directly from the lottery websites but I must be wrong.

I think they ran out of business, nothing you can do except enter drawings manually. Tedious, but there's no other way anymore.

Hi All,

I have a question for those that know the lotto buster program. When I try to do the live update I get an error message that says

The LiveUpdate index appears to be corrupt and cannot be processed. If this problems persists, please contact customer support.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hey everyone

Been using this program for over year now...it's okay on its own but I did created my own system while using specific settings using Lotto Buster. I had it installed on my computer when I bought it, but it's still from time to time asks me to run disk. Now. I got robbed last night . Yep. And disk was in my work bag and it's gone. So I guess question is does anyone knows where to buy it (because I think the company went out of business). New or used, does not matter, please let me... [ More ]
