That's a playing strategy I'm using with KY's 3 Line Lotto because many of the numbers picked on the first line appear in the 2 other lines the terminal generates. I matched 3 numbers last week and had another line with the same three numbers and the third line had 2. On Friday I only matched 2 numbers but still caught 5 numbers on two tickets.

It's a $2 ticket that pays for matching at least 3 numbers on one line and pays for matching at least 5 numbers on all three lines. The current jackpo... [ More ]

Hi..having sold lottery tickets in N C since the lottery began here..I can tell you I have seen this a couple of times...the scanner picks up and reads your numbers..if you got a different powerball number then you got a good ticket..not a duplicate...I always told my customers if you want a quick pck on powerball..best to get it on seperate tickets..the numbers will be more random...which is what you want...try that next draw...best of luck...but sorry to tell you..the 245 million is mine...lol... Check the the play slip you used and its instructions, it may have the option of replaying the five numbers with an auto pick PB#. Some states have the options of auto pick on one or both sets of numbers.

Also remember to check your tickets accuracy before leaving the retailer.

That's odd. It could happen randomly, but, of course, that's very unlikely. It may have been a malfunction in the machine.

I don't think anyone can tell you why it happened. I'd get another quick pick since that one is basically a duplicate.

I played my powerball on Monday evening. I played my numbers and a qp, but the qp gave me the same exact numbers,but a different powerball

number? Why did the computer give me the same number?????? Please help
