On most SM draws there is no winner let alone two winners. I can not belive how there can be two jackpot winners. What are the chances of 2 six set of numbers being the same. Simply unbelivable. Strange. Can anyone explain how this could happen

Sweet Million's winning numbers are drawn by computer as opposed to NY Lottery's usual practice of using ball machines, correct?

Conspiracy theory: NY Lottery got so tired of having non-winners, even with free ticket promotions most months, that they've set the computer to only draw from the pool of numbers that have been sold, or perhaps to heavily favor those combinations. I guess we'll see tonight if there's anything to this theory...

i played 700 dollars that drawing and all i could do is get 4 numbers and these people probably played 5 bucks and 2 people got 6 numbers i guess u cant buy a jackpot

I saw that too....

Must be from the promotion. It happened after the promo ended, but maybe it was carryover or residual effect... or sumthin'... I really dont what it should be called, but it was good to see. I'm sure it's what the NY Lottery has been waiting and hoping would happen. They sure parked the news out on their website big time.
