Virginia s New Year s Millionaire Raffle sold out

December 30, 2011

The final available ticket in the Virginia Lottery s New Year s Millionaire Raffle was sold at 2:08 p.m. on Friday, December 30. That means all 330,000 tickets were bought by Virginia Lottery players.

The final ticket (ticket #000001) was bought at Old Country Store, 18241 A. L. Philpott Highway in Ridgeway.

I got mine (one).

Also got one from Kentucky (50/50 Split the Pot Raffle).

Tennessee doesn't have a raffle.

They're afraid it might be something the players want.

They don't want to start any bad precedents like that.

Greetings all our VA New Year Raffle Players!

Has anybody bought any raffle tickets yet?

I have bought one so far... I usually buy a few more with my close friends, we will split the cost of the $20.00 ticket (makes it a little bit easier to part with the

$20.00 : )

In previous games I have noticed that a lot of players purchase tickets at the last minute, however quite a few winners got some of the Pie in the early release (something to think about) of the game.
