Virgo310, backtesting means to use previous draws to see how a system would have performed. For example if I wanted to backtest for 30 days I would get last months results and starting at the first drawing, apply the system and work forward until the last drawing.

Thanks much for the feedback, LOVEZ2PLAY$!! Looks like using consecutive draws (mid + eve) is a good way to go and playing for two draws. I'm going to take another look at my state (IL) using the mixed draws and playing picks for two draws. Initially I was having better success when keeping the draws separate, but admittedly I didn't get too deep into backtesting the comparison.

Just a note on the pick 4...I was applying the system to pick 4 drawing results, not the pick 3 draws.

Just wanted to say I like your system and it is easy to figure out. I was looking at your post

last night and did the workout for Georgia. What I did was, took Friday evening number and

worked backwards to Friday mid and Thursday eve to get my 6 single digits.

Fri, Jan 13, 2012 Georgia Cash 3 Evening 4-8-7

Fri, Jan 13, 2012 Georgia Cash 3 Midday 9-8-6

Thu, Jan 12, 2012 Georgia Cash 3 Evening 7-7-1

Tee, hee! Will test more before plunking down $1 per # when I get back home. I like it! It's about 72% chance at least one number will repeat from the last draw and I like the way that's incorporated into this system.

Testing Cali..

Took Jan 1mid eve + Jan 2 mid #'s to get 6 #. The hit was the -1 # 672 came bx. on 1/6.

2nd test, took Jan 3mid eve + Jan 4 mid to get 6#. 8-0-3-5-6-7

minus 1 = 4 5 6

pairs= 45 46 56

346 = str8 hit on jan 5 eve.------------ WOW!!

retxx, It should work for MA front 3.

From my original post:

Play pick 4 using the same system. Instead of making pairs use all three offset digits for three combos. For more plays, just add more digits to your original sequence.

Using the above sequence as an example your pick 4 combinations would be

3-4-3-5

2-4-3-5

1-4-3-5

(side note: the other night I played pick 4 which I never do. Using this system I played the first combo generated - 1425 - and the result was 1424.

Thanks lakerben. I won't be putting it into a spreadsheet, but I agree that it can be improved upon by adjusting the offsets tailored to a particular game. A spreadsheet program would be helpful with that.

somer, you would go back to the 4th draw, 5th or how many draws it takes to get your sixth digit. Don't worry about how many draws you're using. I have to go back 4-5 draws a lot of the time.

You could also just play your five numbers (6-0-1-3-9) like so: 639-039-139. Using 5 digits for your sequence gives just three combos to play for the budget minded. Heck, I only play the first combo most of the time.

Don't get hung up on what drawing the number comes from.

You are simply using the last 6 unique (no repeats) digits played in that game. They might show up in two drawings or it may take five drawings to find the last six digits played.

Example:

Last four results of IL pick 3 eve game

654

700

746

711

The last six unique digits that played are 4, 5, 6, 0, 7, 1

draw = drawing

Keep it simple...no need to combine midday and evening drawing results.

For example, if you want to play IL Evening game go to LP results page for IL evening drawing and click on past results for that game. Work your way backwards through the drawings starting from the last digit of the last drawing to find the last six unique digits that played in that game.

That's correct. The 7 would be the next number in the sequence and would only be used if the player wanted to play more than nine combos.

I'm assuming you didn't include the 7 because once we get 6 numbers we stop and only use those 6 numbers? I ask this because you said you don't use repeat numbers, but 7 is there only one time.

Difficulty level: easy

Example:

Last draw was 1-2-3

second draw back 4-4-5

third draw back 7-6-6

Working backwards in time, the very last digit drawn was 3; next-to-last digit drawn was 2; next back was 1; next back was 5; next was 4; next was 6.

Note that repeat digits are ignored and they are listed in most-recent to least-recent sequence.

The sequence is: 3 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 4 - 6
