yeah why not? Powerball is getting way too easy to beat with 170 million to one. It's just not hard enough for me as a challenge, i need something even harder like 10 billion to one.

A few years back the government played with that idea and it didn't pan out because they didn't want terrorist countries involved in the mix.

Nah, too many crooks in the world that would be harder to keep track of than the crooks in the UN.

And if you caught them cheating, the same thing would happen as when the UN crooks get caught stealing - nothing.

Thank you for your input. I agree with your #'s. Maybe all said and done, it's just to much money for most people to fathom....except for the Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, or Third World Dictator types

i like to work out the dividend payments on wins, based on a %10 return and a 30% tax,

so a 1 mill win gets me a $70k a year income. this is aussie numbers, and yea theres some shares still returning %10 div yields.

anyhow then i look at euro millions or the power ball, jackpot. lets just use $100M cash after all costs to invest

that $7M a year after taxes in income. or $134k a week after taxes!

anything over 10 million really is over kill, unless we are talking pools winning and hav... [ More ]

Good point savagegoose, but hypothetically if we could work out the bugs and designate neutral countries to collect and dish out the cash payments,

(Such as US, Switzerland, UK, etc.) and corruption were not an issue, do you see a demand for lotto tickets for say $1 or $2 that could command $100 billion jackpots, with 2nd 3rd tier prizes of $500-250 million

we cant keep corruption under control in our own country, yeah lets send our money to crooks overseas as well as here.

nah as much as i like hte idea, of massive massive pools of money. every country will be wanting the money as theirs and scheming ways to steal it, even before its won.
