I play pb advance action for 4 draws so I check when i get new pb tickets. hoping that I won at least a second tier prize.

I check 'em on LP that night.

I used to play TN Cash occasionally but quit after learning that the TN Lottery moves with the speed and agility of a Giant Three-Toed Sloth when it comes time to report the winning numbers. Screw them, I'm usually passed out drunk and comatose when they get around to reporting them an hour or two after the drawing.

Virginia's State Games are better anyway.

And with us being in the Pacific NW, we seldom have to worry about hearing that the jackpot hit nearby... except that MM last year that was split between WA and Idaho.

I hope I'm not too paranoid about double-checking tickets. I just want to be thorough. When I hear the occasional story about the newspaper that printed the wrong numbers for a particular draw, I never feel that bad for the person who thought they had won and found out about the error... They stopped showing the drawing live on KCAL in SoCal, so I wait a minute or so, and someone always post the numbers on twitter. That's where I check them.

I check my PB and MM the next day, as early as I remember. I'd never save a bunch to check at the same time, because I wouldn't be confident that I checked the right ticket against the right drawing day, so it's better for me to do all tickets for each drawing at once.

I check my Weekly Grand (Idaho draw game) right after the draw because they hold it at 8 pm, so I'm still up. I'll often check it again the next morning after I've checked my PB numbers, just to make sure there wasn't a mix up... [ More ]

I live in AZ and I don't think any channels here have the PB/MM drawings live. I usually check the numbers after 10 PM because that's when all of our game results are posted on the AZLottery website. Although I know the MM/PB results are availible online at least 1-2 hours before 10PM I'd rather be disappointed all in one sitting :P

I suppose mine would be first thing in the morning . I wrote a script that runs in the middle of the night and checks my tickets for me (obviously it requires me to tell it what numbers I played beforehand). Said script then e-mails me the results; if I've won anything, it also tells me how much I've won.

I check my numbers at night before I get to sleep. Since my sleep schedule is rather skewed anyways I am still up. Also being up that late it allows me to have UFO-awareness. ANY sudden bright light I will notice much easier... um-hmm - yes.

I have a Free App. for my phone if I'm not home . When I'm home I check the Louisiana Lotto web site . I never let a clerk at any store check my tickets to many unethical clerks steal peoples winnings . When I cash in my winning pick 4 and pick 3 tickets , I always go to the same store . I underline my matching numbers and the amount won next to Winning Set .

I always check my online games (Fantasy 5, PowerBall, FL Lottery) the next day. I want to remain optimistic that I have a chance still throughout the night so when I wake up in the morning, I could be a mllionaire lol.

Scratchers I tend to check soon after buying them. Sometimes I will sit on those till next day also. If I find out I am holding a loser, I dont want to feel like I need to run up to the store to get the next in line. This also seems to save $$ also

I wait until the middle of the day/evening to check my tickets. I check mine online and I figure if there was any mix-up/mistakes about the numbers they put up it would have been found out and corrected by that point.

Curious to see what other habits people have. I check to see where the jackpot and the 5+0's are. If they weren't in my state, I move on with my day. I may sit on a month's worth of tickets before checking them. I also double and triple check and still have a hard time conceding that they aren't winners.
