What was funny is that read the whole thing before noticing the dates... Hey it was pinned so I found it important. Wish I would do the same with my bulletin board at school..

OK, now I understand. You're saying that the topic was pinned to the top of the forum, and should be unpinned, as it has expired. Makes sense, I have unpinned it.

As four4me explained, topics that have no replies for one month (30 days) get automatically locked by the system. I don't go around locking the threads myself I don't think I would possibly have the ability or time to do that but the system has a process that automatically does it once a day.

Every post that has been made by members is archived on lottery post. When a post is last replied to if no one responds to that post for a given period of time set by Todd it is automatically locked and cannot be replied to.

It sits atop the Mystical forum as if it's the most current topic, when in fact it has been idle since 2008.

Only an observation.....I got her point, was simply responding to t's question.

It is has no way to reply, nor has it been updated since 2007. Sorta reminds me of my bullentin board at school in May.. I take down, August announcements.
