Thanks for your efforts developer...i apologize i have not tried it yet...Pick 3 is really annoying me...i have started to play only front pair 91x...and trying to not devote too much time to it...and i may do a dollar soon because i think its timed...

Its like in that police song...

I cant stand losing!!!

I cant seem to find the waveform because there are no doubles!!

When i give it a whirl i will let you know how it goes!!!

Yes a real problem here.

So I wrote a little app for you to do it http://www.lsa-lottery-software.com/NYL.zip

Download my little app,unzip and run it

Paste the results that have been copied directly from the website to the top text window in the app.

The bottom text window will then populate automatically for you with the data in a manageably format.

Select all and copy out to be pasted wherever you like.

If the app wont run you will have to install the MS VB runtimes, search G... [ More ]

Here is another idea and I just tried it and it worked for me.

I cant speak of the official Lottery site but for LP .

Instead of just copying the dates and numbers, I included a little of the text at the top in my copy. When I pasted into excel, I just deleted the text at top and everything is as it shoud be

Dates are Dates and numbers are lined up as they should be..

So I just delet the junk at the top

maybe something similar would work on New York official site

view.

Steve's sheet will work very well for me .

I havent checked the video yet , but he has all the states pick 3's already updated.

Well maybe not All but most of them.

The browser you are using may have something to do with how your data is formatted when you copy and paste into Excel.

I had to create a few variations for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Micrsoft Internet Explorer will place all the data in 1 column whereas Mozilla Firefox will actually place all the data in the correct cells for my own Excel file(s).

The other thing that will affect how your data is copied is if you have previous settings for Data Text to columns that ar... [ More ]

Copying from the NY page into notepad came out like ...

e.g.

05/21/2012 Midday 1-7-6 14

05/20/2012 Evening 0-1-4 05

05/20/2012 Midday 8-7-5 20

Then saved that as a text file.

Opened excel and told it to import the text file (.txt)

At step three, on the import wizard, highlighted column containing the triplets and set that column format as text.

Clicked Finish .

removing the dashes is easy if you delimit in excel...but how to get from dates back to dashes

When I tried to paste special...there are three options.

it comes up as

HTML this one converts data into dates

Unicode Text and

text

Both unicode text and text paste the correct values...

but then the data is not neatly displayed to be delimited...it would take forever to move the data into columns by cut and pasting...

the only problem with search results with LP is that it is only for last month...

i want to do to 2008 from NYL website...and they are making it very diff... [ More ]

its what I get when I uncheck the dash ,

Im trying like get all the pick 3 in one column,

I tried going to the actual state drawings instead of Daily Number

and I dont see the option there to remove dashes

Click Results Daily Numbers Games

There is an option to remove the dashes from the results. Just uncheck this option.

Then click the link for your state and copy and paste your results into Excel

i recently tried to copy and paste from NYL website and an annoying thing occurred...some of the results popped up as dates.

i need help to get those dates back to the original number, this is the first time this has happenned to me and it didnt happen yesterday....i have posted an example of what i got below...interestingly the only numbers that stayed true were the ones having a zero in it. i have tried to use the format cells option...but i dont see the data reverting...help please...this
