Yes I do. I just quit playing my 10 QP numbers that have been in play for almost 13 years without winning better than 4th prize in all this time. I play them on 10 draw cards and I just looked at that $100. yesterday I thought to myself........ I'm keeping this money !!!

I really had to sweat the draw last night knowing that after 13 years this was the most likely night for these numbers to hit the JP because I DIDNT PLAY THEM.

No, I don't get discouraged and I don't give up.

I try not to take all of this too seriously and I stay within my budget.

Start spending what you can't afford and wanting to win so bad, that's too Vegas for me! lol

Just have fun with it, kind of step away and not get too emotional.

Listen, don't you ever give up on something you truly believe in. Your belief system is the strongest, and, most important thing in your possession. This is what sets people apart, okay. Keep backtesting ideas and find something that works sometimes.. and stay with it and don't worry about other methods. If it works sometimes and you play all the time, you will win sometimes.

While backtesting, play on paper.. When you lose.. you can smile and think..'geeh, glad I didn't play .. if it wins... then record what you did, and keep that method..

I feel like I've been playing since the 1770's. I just missed hitting George Washington's Mountain Road Lottery by one number!

Elizabeth, hang in there because as long as:

a) You only spend money that you can comfortably lose

b) You take into account the long odds and expect to lose way more often than win

c) You are having fun with it

Then you should be okay. But I know what you're saying, because sometimes it's not easy to have all three of those going at the same time, especial... [ More ]

like this recent iowa group.

In consolation, I been playing since the 70s,

still waiting.

maybe skip days when you don't feel good about it.

Yes, I certainly do, since I have not won or won only free replays or very little amount that won't even help me. Today, is just one of the days and I am getting very frustrated--I am trying not to think about it but I can't help it, if I don't see the results I want...

Some days I feel confident with the lottery. Other days I feel very discouraged and do not even want to spend $1.00 on a ticket, because my instincts are not working well with the numbers, and I don't want to go broke.

How do you play the lottery and not think about failure- and keeping your head up?
