Here's an example of a point spread:

San Diego -8 vs Kansas City +8

A - Sign before or after the team signifies that they are the Favorite to win the game by that amount of points.

A + Sign before or after the team signifies that they are the Underdog,and expected to lose the game by that many points.

In the prior post you'll see a column listed Favorite and the other listed as Underdog,with the Point Spread for thegame In Between

Hopefully this helps a bit
