Go to the offical mega millions website (megamillions.com) and you'll see the jackpot winning ticket was sold in New York. If you go to calottery website it only shows the results for California.

The results you see on the CA website for MM is for California ONLY. So, maybe nobody in California won, but there was a winner in another state, so the Jackpot goes down.

I found a possible bug in the Mega Millions game on the California Lottery game site. The result on Nov 2, 2012 showed no winning tickets for both the first and second prices. The $32 million jackpot should roll over to the next draw. Instead, the new jackpot for the next draw is $12 millions (the starting jackpot for the game). It is either a bug or someone made a mistake. Any thounght
