I get the frustration of having to explain seemingly simple things. Having said that, I'm still not understanding how the Total column is acheived. I've been through every post, even the one where you explain it. Your explanation works in that example not not elsewhere. For instance, in Carlig's spreadsheet. Here's an example:

How do you create Mirror, mirror of what? Some explanation have it that you use just draw numbers and aad 1through 9 , and other have it that you use total to do this. Are you using all those methods together? How often do they work? Does it make sense to spend $30 trying to get straight hit, or is it better to also play all ways , thus adding another $30 to the expenses, but then if number hits there, at least $80 win will cover expenses? I backtested using the total of the draw from November 1st in the NY evening game. The drawn number was 141. I changed to the total 858.

As a result, the 453 hit straight on the next draw.

Again, the total was used as an input and 1 to 9 was added to it. It was clearly explained that the draw was changed to the total and used as an input.

I made the post as basic as possible with simple addition. I even highlighted the inputs etc. I think one problem is that people skim over the reading and instantly say they don't understand.

I will make a suggestion to the forum to have a beginers corner with all the fundamentals so the beginners can get up to speed before they stat posting on a regular basis.

I used the total of the ny draw as an input and then added the 1 to 9 to it. I didn't anticipate the confusion since I know there are alot of experienced members on the site who know what a total is.
