I've only been playing the lottery with real consistency for the last year or so, but whenever I decide to play the PB it just seems like I never even get close with my picks. I just think that the odds are so astronomically high that its difficult to come close. I've had far more success playing pick5's and pick6's lately. Maybe think about using your $ to play a game with better odds. I'm now strictly doing the pick6 consistently and plan to win that one SOON

I have played my numbers regularly for +6 years now and have never won anything substantial. At first they were MegaMillions numbers but also fit in PB's structure so I use them there too.

I sometimes skip playing and those times my stress levels goes up a notch because of the what if factor. I think I'm going to advance play just to cover myself.

I've been playing the same PowerBall numbers for almost exactly 20 years now, and never better than a $100 win. It does get discouraging. I get my hopes up for every drawing too, only to have them mercilessly stomped on.

But before you consider giving them up, read the post on the Jackpot Games forum by tnlottodreamer.

You problem is thinking every player gets a turn to win, it doesn't work that way.

I've been playing my same set of power ball numbers for over 5 years now and have yet to even get the first 5 numbers which i would gladly accept because i always pp. Each drawing i get excited that maybe its my turn to win but after the drawing the numbers that come out are not even close to my 5 set of tickets.
