Addai you might want to do some due dilgence and read some trade publishing newletters such as Publishers Weekly. Although the book industry is changing daily and hardcover sales peaked in 2007, non fiction books (reference, art, how-to, etc) are among the strongest sellers. These types of books have ready made audiences and can sell quite a large number of books.

And of course to author such a book you have to have expertise in the topic and an established platform.

It is a reference book. Perhaps you do not value reference books, but many people do. I'm not sure anything here calls it special , although it is the only one of its kind, so I suppose it could be considered special for that reason. I would think of it more as valuable than special , for people who want or need to quickly reference past lottery results in a reference book.

It's a hard copy reference to identify trends and patterns from year to year. The tool I currently use is published monthly and it gives me little time to get ahead of developing trends. Having the year all in one resource that I can leverage without staring at a screen all day would go a long way.

P.S.

That's how it would support my current pick 3 system.

I have been hard at work these past few weeks putting together the 2012 editions of the Lottery Results Almanac series.

It is an incredibly massive chunk of work that needs to be crammed into the first few weeks of each year, because the book can't be assembled until all the results from the past year have been drawn.
