This month I am going to try to play my numbers straight only. I just want to see if I come out ahead or end up in the red because I missed a box hit.

I usually hit the Cash 3 about 5-8 times a month. Sometimes it can be frustrating because most of my wins come out box. But I always try to stick with playing str8/box unless I am playing a double number I like. Then I will combo it. It is still better to hit something, even if it is just a box hit.

Always...Always...Always. Play them straight, if I see a set of numbers I like I put them into 3 different combination. I usually do well. Always a straight the win is worth the time and effort, and certainly more rewarding.

If you play your number str8 only, the number might come out box. If you play box only, the number may come exact. Playing str8/box is the cost effective way to play.

I was not surprise to see 1 vote for front pairs and 1 vote for back pairs. I don't know anyone who play pairs.

I prefer front pair (or back pair mostly) I am more patient betting that way, but mostly I just lose in pick 3.

Also instead of a box, I would just play a straight and then cover it with a front pair bet just in case.

I keep thinking its an easy game to beat, it can be at times but its just more work, and I dont really have that time when playing the bigger games. But I keep trying

I agree with the str8 reverse position. A few years ago every number I played came out backwards for a box hit. So I would have to play the number reverse to.

I play mine straight multi times and boxed for the minimum. The doubles I like to do superstraight multi times up to 4 and

sometimes 6 times each sometimes with a side straight bet on one fav set up too.

If I like a straight set up, I'll go $40 on IF I really like it.

Triples when I'm covering them I go $1 on the less favored and $5 - $20 on the ones I see as better.

I have put $40 on 999 on and off but only had $1 on 000 when it came out in PA, booo.

Str8 only 99% of the time. I figure once you have gone past the box payout before a win box plays are all losers from there.

I do not play a lot of numbers and focus on str8s. Gives me that extra time advantage for a win. Get a str8 hit close to each other in time frame adds a bonus to the pot.

Figure how many numbers you play and how long before you need a win to stay ahead.

For double numbers I may go combo for a str8 win.

Most days I am a straight shooter if I am very confident of my numbers. I play online most often so it's cheaper to combo than at the store.

I play str8 99 percent of the time.....$2 a day budget prevents all other wagering types.

When I get sick of losing after along time of chasing a str8,I play 4 pairs for pair bets on mid draw but that is usually short lived.

Depends on how many combinations I have as to how I play. I try to keep them down as few as I can and if I really like a number I will go $1.00 on it several times. Otherwise I will play it Exact/Any Order. For Doubles I usually play a 50 cent Combo because if I am gonig to spend $1.00 Any Order I might as well spend he extra 50 cents and hit it Exact. The cashier where I play told me he won $3,300 on 515 because he played it 10X str8/box. I wanted so bad to tell him if he had played it combo for $3.00 and $7.00 str8 he would have won $4,000. But he was so excited about his win I decided to let him enjoy his moment.

Every player is different and have different reason why they play a certain way. I would like to play $1 straight only to win $500. But most of the numbers I catch come out boxed for a $40.00 win so I stick with the $1 Str8/Box play most of the time. If I am playing a double number I will play it combo.
