If people guess one jackpot that I predicted, then these people are correct. Someone in New Jersey won a $338.3 million dollar Powerball Jackpot with the winning numbers are 17-29-31-52-53 and Powerball 31. What do you think about my comment

I think that they are waiting for California to come online to release it and then it will be one of the largest if not the largest jackpot in history.

Powerball's record jackpot was $587.5 million when two winning tickets were captured. Mega Millions holds the record at $656 million ($473.6 million cash value) set on March 30th, 2012. I'm glad California is going to join Powerball on their first draw on Wednesday April 10th, 2013. If someone wins this upcoming Powerball draw, then the people who predicted someone wins the Powerball draw will be correct. Good luck to everyone.

I think we'll see jackpot deja vu if Powerball is not won Saturday. It was almost at the exact same time last year that Mega Millions set the record $651 million advertised jackpot. Powerball could easily reach that if it is not won Saturday, and it could even possibly take over the record cash jackpot of $474 million as well.

Based on the # of winners reported on the Powerball website (not including powerplay winners) the estimated # of total tickets sold was 38,607,935.

The probability that no one won the jackpot was 80%. ((175,223,510 - 1)/175,223,510)^38,607,935. (Odds of winning Powerball 1 in 175,223,510).

Let's say the # of ticket sales increases 10% for the next draw (more interest due to very large jackpot) the odds that NO ONE wins is 78.5%.
