I turned the script into a proc so I could do testing on a larger scale. I ran it for 2012 (251 hits) and 2011 (227 hits). But that's for 64 sets. Now I'm working on the secondary filters to see if I can get the set count to 20 while leaving as many hits as possible. Can't wait to get it working well enough to play.

4*4*4 gave me the most hits/fewest numbers to create sets with. From there, I create the sets and hoped to knock down the number of sets played using additional stats (like sums, pairs, etc.). While back testing has shown the system to hit, I agree that playing 64 set is far too much. Thus, the post here.

As far as you comments about deviations being inferior. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I've had rather good luck with deviations.

So I've been fiddling with a new system. As usual with me, a data based system. Think I'll call it the point system. Basically, I threw in every piece of data I could think of. Here's a quick rundown.

I make a table that lists 0-9 for each position. So that would give me 1000 sets. I fill in this table with these stats...

-Next Draw: I look to see what number fell after each number on each position.

-Deviations: Which deviation occurred the most to give a particular number

-Days Out... [ More ]
