For those of us who are new to playing the Pick 4 and who want to learn how to fish on our own, where do we begin to get the best set of numbers for a current drawing? Do we go back two weeks or futher? I notice that filtering is a part of the process, so what's the best starting point?

Aslo, I'm in NC and we have day drawings and evening drawings. Is it better to do day-to-day and eve-to-eve or day-to-eve when working with the filtering process?
