I'm not advocating a reason to steal without consequences or trying to justifying theft... more pointing out punishment fitting the crime .

One poster stating cutting off limbs for stealing- period... no qualifiers.

If someone steals today, there is only one reason. They want it but don't wish to work for it.

America oversaw the hangings of the nazi war criminals after the trials at Nuremberg. If the stolen amount is over 500,000

then an appropriate sentences is a hard kick to the gonads every 5 hours, for 5 years.

If less then 500,000 and more than 999.00 then hanging should be 9 hours a day in this position,

for 9 months, with a hard kick in the groin every 27 hours. (9+9+9)

(Of course women never steal, so this applies to only men
