Admittedly some players have discovered flaws in programs used by some states for their computer drawings but they weren't the results of a conspiracy but the lack of training about how to set up the computers.

I just broke my mechanical pencil and I am going to cry. But first I want to agree. Members posting a lot of predictions aren't trying to fool anyone, (other than themselves) and some other members are seeing their posts and incorrectly coming to conclusion on their own that are not fully sustainable. LP members are always coming up with conspiracy theories that are strongly supported by facts, however that doesnt help the hit ratio.

Don't be fooled by how much posting or predicting members do. Members who post and predict a lot of combinations couldn't possible have the time and money to play all those numbers. To spend tons on money on lotteries you have to have tons of money and judging from their prediction results, they aren't making any money that way.

Since 1989 I've been through 5 divorces because of the pick 3. All 5 women thought it was too much to spend about 3,000 a month, so I told them to take a hike.

I play about two movies worth a month. Here in Oklahoma we have casinos and the gamblers go there. However I have seen at the gas station sometimes people will drop $20 on ten powerball quick picks. I like to play when I feel strong mojo and have a few extra dollars to spare. Plus I have some really good numbers. Maybe about $1-$3 a couple times a week.

The only people it will bother is my grandkids, and that's only on the weekends.

Well I don't post 24/7 but the lottery has no effect on anything or anyone in my life. As others know, I am a big fan of telling people that playing the lottery should only be a small part of you life. One should be pursuing other goals and not subscribe to the I will do that when I win the lottery.

My wife and I play together. We each pick 3 numbers and combine them into a set. We spend $6 per week buying 1 ticket per MM and PB drawing. We used to fight a lot before we started but playing has brought us closer together and helped evolve our problem solving techniques.

What you describe is a person with a true addition.

People who have similar symptoms of a person who is addicted to drugs or alcohol.

Communicating on LP can be therapeutic for some and an eye opener for others who have realized and spoken out about their problems with gambling.

Personally, my husband and I both play lottery.

We have our own monies to play with and study and work out the numbers in different ways.

We discuss the lottery.

For my partner and I, it has let to discussions about our weekly and monthly budget and our savings. My partner has actually got me spending less on the lottery than in used to.
