Is not semantics, if I say cash 5 has a matrix of 5/34, what is your data? your base data is 1 through 34 (34 members). This pool of 34 members are raw without information, the data start making sense when you learn that 5 members are drawn without replacement for this game. To select 5 members your approach is to find past history of this game(What if is a new game just started) before you can infer anything (PRIOR), I don't need that historical draws, I will simulate the pool of 39 members in... I have a bit of a confusion between prior and historical - isn't that which is historical, prior? And how do you have unknown data - the data is the historical data you're using, to configure future results. But like you say, you can interpret this many different ways; and maybe this is all semantics anyway.

In pick 3 and 4 games, I assume the balls are drawn with replacement or three different hoppers with 10 members, all drawn at different periods. I don't subscribe to 'PRIOR' which is a central theme of BAYESIAN Statistics. Bayesian stats depends on large historical data, 'adjusting probabilities' with increase size of data, I am not comfortable with this approach, first you need much large data , second, the ideal of history repeating itself when conditions are different does not appeal to me(my opinion). What's your a priori for that long string of numbers? I'm not sure why it's not, say, working up from digit-placement to digit-placement. E.g., 551 - 504 - 165... next first placement 5 is: 595 - 903... so you get a string (all following 5s) 5-1-9, etc. Your long string assumes a relationship between, say, the 1 in 551, and the 5 in 504 - different play, different pla... Online blackjack games .....how would those casinos ever begin to catch that? If they really are legitimate .....how do the online gaming casinos protect themselves from that sort of thing?

Of course my feelings about all of these online table games are obvious from my post over the years.

I think they write the software and that's the end of that story. They don't need protection.

I was debating if the knowledge from reading about casino gambling by someone in the business is the same knowledge as someone who worked in casinos has and it's similar to Jimmy's arguments. It appears he believes any opinion on one form of gambling equals all forms of gambling because his expert said so. The problem is his experts are never here so we can never question them.

My college roommate use to catch a lot of jokes about his very thick German accent.

It always gave me a lot of satisfaction to tell those people ..... yes, he does have a terrible accent in English .....and 5 other languages . Then I would ask them..... How many languages do you have an accent in ? LOL

What I was trying to say is just play whatever works for you. I still work on prediction tools but

more for fun than anything else. If the patterns I have found in the past would have proved to

be dependable then I would be rich. My problem is getting all the little jewels to participate in

the same draw. Systems are not winners or losers, that title belongs to the person using them.

Patterns In statistics, there two types of error in data sampling, type 1 deals with the identification of false patterns in a data, this type may yield false-positive in testing situations, sure you may find a pattern, how do you differentiate between type1 error and type 2, the suggested solution will be the null hypothesis, if you can interpret this hypothesis in a very simple way, then certain 'patterns' can be nullify- this will be hard in a random setting.
