Enjoy that winning feeling for a while and go spend your winnings. When I win I like to go shopping immediately otherwise I will end up spending it on more lottery tickets.

No need to stop playing that ticket if its working for you but you could take a break for a week or two.

$1000 wins are very rare in California. A lot of us in the California forum have been playing this ticket and no one has won over $500 so far.
