Just curious as to whether or not you create tape back-ups of the application software?

I would think if you do create tape back-ups, loading the most recent back-ups to a new server would go a long way towards solving the issue of something falling through the cracks!

I also appreciate the fact that it's lot easier said than done, and that migrating to a new server isn't something that happens quickly. Good Luck

If the problem continues I would check your power source. I don't know if you have your servers on a ups power source or straight to a outlet. I would have a electrician check the panel and breakers. Maybe a bad breaker.

I haven't written on this subject in the past few days because I felt It would get written off, but my experiences in the past few days other than the LP Site has proven the same lag. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but now I firmly believe those various experiences has yielded the same outcome which is, it's a web problem. Someone or some group of hackers figured how to infiltrate the net by confusing it..

I figured someting was wrong because i could log onto other sites with no problem.

I'm not a network guru but Would it help if everyone logged off for 8 hours or more?

Do you have a router trouble shooting flowchart? Did all the loop back tests work

Ok. Thanks. Every time I tried to click on something I got a this page cannot be displayed message. I was just wondering because, if a lot of people were having a problem every one may think somebody else probably said something, or somebody must know about it. Which may not be the case.

When I first saw the symptom, I was thinking fundamental internal hardware immediately, not connectivity, fetches were slow, usually indicating disk caching or channel piping issues. Performance is definitely back, take a break if you can. Thanks for the all your work, you are a super duper one man IT dept.

Seriously , I did think it had something to with AOL upgrade, lol.

But, every other site I went to, worked just fine, except, Lotterypost.

So, I figured, it must be Lotterypost, but, I didn't see a usual link, the site will be down for a few hours , etc.

Sometimes, upgrading, does cause issues @ hearsetrax.

I have now been battling massive performance problems on the LP server for over 24 hours now. The problems started Sunday evening around 8:00 pm Eastern Time. If I haven't returned your message, it's because I have not had the time, so I am sorry about that.

I suggest bypassing the Heisenberg Compensator and deviating the route from panel C, row 2 in the capacitor panel. This should enable the sub-function modulator to perform faster, thus aiding the sequencing compiler. Moreover, additional adjustments with the Terminal balance frequency, Helio-optimization processor in panel F can also speed the system buffer component which is directly responsible for the coil shifter.

I started having it Sunday evening. Still having it today. When I would go from forum to forum or try to post anything there would be a This page cannot be displayed message on the screen telling me to 1) make sure the address is correct. 2) try searching for it with the browser. 3) refresh the page in a few minutes.

I just started having this problem with the LP website yesterday but started to have similar problems with the Best Buy website a week or two ago with webpage that showed computer prices and several other webpage on the Internet so I was thinking I had picked up a bug in my browser. Good to hear the problem may be fixable at the websites.

I have had the same problem over the weekend also....what I don't understand Todd is how come something is not posted on LP so the members know if it is on their end or it's something with LP itself....when something like this happens right away I think it is my computer when all awhile it wasn't...don't mean to sound mad just would like to have something posted when something like this happens....I'm sure Todd you are doing everything you can to keep this site up and running and things do happe... Sorry, it is a problem on my end. I have literally been up all night trying to solve some performance problems I'm having on the server. The problem seems to be still happening. I am doing the best I can to lock down the source of the problem and fix it, but so far it's still a struggle. Again, sorry for the issues, and I hope to have them fixed as soon as I can.

Is it just my computer, or was LP running slowly this weekend, Sept 27/28 ??? I had the hardest time getting into the LP website using both Internet Explorer and Chrome Browsers.
