Females in a triangle formation in the middle of group and always standing.

Notice that their movements are less aggressive than the males.

A female is calling the orders for the group and the group responds.

Males are more aggressive and show a protective formation around the females.

When the Haka is finished, a male stands protectively in front of the female caller

and takes the leadership position for the whole group of soldiers.
