Well, the key is in paying attention to Probability and what it tells us. Any viable Pick 3 method must center around this. Until then, ALL methods will end up to fail. But, a concrete way to play the Pick 3 has ,already, been found and ,of course, it's based on Probability. So, it can be done.

what type computer are you using desktop, laptop, tablet, notepad etc

Well, with all due respect, adding and/or subtracting ,with Pick 3 numbers, isn't really reliable and has nothing to do with how the numbers work. Instead, the game is governed by Probability.

how do i download the link using open office? you do not use open office to download the link.

from lp double click the link Ranman17 provided. this should open another window. if you have drop box installed you will have two options direct download or download to your drop box . use direct download. depending on options you or whoever set your computer up, the computer may or may not ask where you want the file stored. Default is in my documents downloads

after looking at your file add val( ) to your left, right, and mid commands ex val(left(b2,1)) etc.

excel treats the result of these commands as text sometimes . adding the val insures excel treats the result as a number

Those two numbers, 274 and 502 were just an example. They are not from Florida's winning numbers.

You don't have to do the workout anymore, thanks to ranman and phileight, they've automated it. Apache Open Office is free, just look it up on the net and download it.

I'll do this one for you. The top sets are 1 up/down of 772. The bottom sets are from ranman. I don't know how he got those, but they are effective.

Two items:

The first thing I noticed is that this works better when the top number is lower than the bottom number. This should cut down cost of play. Only play when this situation arises.

The second thing I noticed was the sets below my one up/down sets. I don't know how ranman came up with those sets, but at least 60 to 70% of the time, If I do a 1 up/down on those, there will be a straight hit within 3 days.

Sorry Onlymoney...I don't have the head for it. I can get it to work one way or the other but because you must put the most recent draw on top and you are never sure if it is the higher or lower number. I can make it so that after you do the math you enter you trigger number and it will give you your play set(s) but if that's not what you want I suggest you ask CarliG or Winsum.

The workout number is 278, not 388. 969+278=1247

Also, the lowest number does not go on the bottom. Whatever the numbers are despite them being higher or lower is used in that fashion. I'm not looking for the difference between the two winning numbers per se, I'm adding upwards.

my version of OM's pick 3 system. It does use macros. there are two tabs data and sheet 2. after checking it out with the data that is loaded, load your pick 3 data into same space I am using on the data tab. your data also needs to be in same format. select sheet 2 and select the start button all of your matches will be colored.

at the top of this sheet you can select midday or evening draw, i do not mix them. you can also select how many games to check. currently set for 400

Come on lets think about this...

For a quick glance, you can just add 1,000 to the newest number (if less than previous number) and minus other number to get your answer.

Ex. just add 1,000 to Dec 24 577 to get 1,577

Not correct. If the older draw is higher than the newer draw, you'll have to keep going past it to get the correct number.

Example,

Wed, Dec 24, 2014 5-7-7

Tue, Dec 23, 2014 9-8-3

Despite the 577 being lower than the 983, you still use it in that fashion. You're counting up to 577 using regular math. So, from 983 to 1,000 is 17, and then to 577, so 17+577=594.

983+594=1577(use only use last 3 digits when you get 4 digits)

So 594 is the workout number.... [ More ]

I tried mid to eve and then mid to mid and had like one hit I believe, but eve to eve worked best.

Yes, oldest draw on the bottom.

Note: The success with eve to eve could be a temporary trend, so this is why i asked for a spreadsheet so I can do a more extensive test in less time.

I'm hoping someone can put this into excel for quicker testing.

Take your last two evening winning numbers like below in a real example in Florida,

Tue, Dec 23, 2014 9-8-3

Mon, Dec 22, 2014 7-7-2

Using regular math, you go up from 772 to 983 which comes to 211.

772+211=983

So the number we're always looking at is the number that we added to get the next eve's number which in this case is 211.
