In the main Virginia Pick 3 thread, I posted a summary of what I've got here. I thought my usmmary was a little clearer than what I'd already posted here, so I'm posting the summary here, too. Good Lucks!

Based on my results, my numbers for this month fall into two groups. Here is the short list.

The white hot numbers

270 156

and the red hot numbers

362 401 427 531 551 614 660 684 710 735 751 796 805 842 853 854 964

I was trying sooooo hard to get this whole thread up ahead of the 2PM draw, but I was just a little too slow. The thing is, I got all my work up so you can see where everything came from. I just woke up with a burning feeling that I was onto something. It just took hours to get to crush the numbers and get the post up. Man, it would be nice if I've hit paydirt here. Good Lucks

And then I parred the list down to just numbers that have repeated. There's your 270. The other number that meets exactly the same criteria as 270 is 156. Take a look. Here is the entire list. Those are the numbers which have repeated straight 3 times in January which also have repeated as combos. There are 2 numbers which had repeated as combos 3 times. One of those numbers, 270 has already repeated again, making it the first number to repeat 4 times in January as a combo.

And then I crushed that list to find every case where one of the combo numbers had repeated. My markup convention is that one dash represents a repeat. Two dashes represents two repeats and so on.

I'm pretty good at looking at a list and finding the straights, but not the combos. Some of you are way better at that than me. I don't trust myself to find them, so I devised a way to let the computer do the work for me.

So here is the list in order. This is how I normally find straight duplicates, but this time we're after something else.

Have you all noticed that my list of numbers which have been drawn 3 times in January has been producing winners? I admit, it' a big list, so it stands to reason that it will produce a few winners. HOWEVER... And this is a big HOWEVER, after I crunched the numbers, I felt that it was extremely obvious that 270 (or one of its combos) was coming. In the course of crushing the numbers, a second number, 156, popped up which occurs exactly as 270 did. And we all know how that went, right? Lol.
