Yeah Todd just posted a list of states who are participating which is probably accurate.

The new jurisdictions participating in the lucky for Life game starting Jan. 27 are:

Arkansas Delaware District of Columbia Idaho Iowa Kentucky Michigan Minnesota Missouri Montana South Carolina

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the list posted is inaccurate. Only nine (8?) states are participating in the expansion. They originally hoped for 12-15 but the higher payout conflicts with several lotteries' portfolios and statutes. If the game proves popular then they may re-consider. I know NC and GA are out for sure.

As far as I know Texas is not in on this game. I haven't read anything on TLC's website about it.

TLC is starting up a game called Triple Chance later this year. Top prize for it will be $100000. Cost $2 for 3 lines.

For winning a million dollars, Powerball is roughly comparable. Powerball 2nd tier odds is 1 in 5,153,633. The cash value of the 2nd tier prize in Lucky for Life is ~$390,000 though roughly 2.8 times easier to win. All in all, both Powerball and Lucky for Life are about comparable, when adjusted on a wager basis ($2 for one MM; $6 for 3 LFL - playing same numbers 3 times), in regards to the 2nd tier.

I'm still waiting for Idaho to put something up for the game on their site. They keep sending emails and are promoting the game but they haven't put anything up on the main site which is weird.
