Savvy lottery higher ups know that if there is One surefire way to get people to fork over their Dollars, it&#x27;s putting the idea out there that even if you lose a dollar or more; don&#x27;t feel bad, it&#x27;s supplemental money for the kids- hey who doesn&#x27;t want to see kids succeed? Diverting funds from the children is touching the 3rd rail- WA sure seems to have.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>l am willing to bet that if the WA State lottery was tied 100% to funding Education- there would be no debacle over this issue.If the voters signed off on needed funds from the Lottery proceeds going to those kids but was being used elsewhere- the first to feel the sword would be Politicians. Montana neither pick4 or pick3. Oregon , pick 4 only. Which could turn into a advantage for players. Between Idaho Oregon, Which every state get the most of Washington lottery players money could easily change to a full service state. The state primarily funds itself through a 6.5% sales tax that makes up more than 60% of its revenue. Localities add to this, so the sales tax can be as high as 9.5% in some areas. While the state has no corporate income tax, it does have a gross receipts tax, which charges businesses roughly 1% of revenue. This is why they are adding tolls on I-405 and charging The toll rate varies between 75 cents and $10 based on how many drivers choose to use express toll lanes.
