The percentages overlap?

Yes. Each group performs similarly. 53% of the time there will be no hit, 36% of the time there will be one hit and 11% of the time there will be 2 hits from each group. When you combine them, 1 pair from each group, or 2 pairs from one group will hit 46% of the time.

E.g. 587 one Consecutive pair 57 and one Ghost pair 58 (also one odd pair, 57)

147 no Consecutive pairs, two Ghosts pairs, 14, 47 (also one odd pair, 17).

Not sure about your second question.

Consecutive Pairs hit in 47% of draws. Also the Ghost Pairs (03,07,14,18,25,29,36,47,58,69) will hit 47%.

One or both of these pair groups will hit 70% of the time, with both hitting 46% of the time and one or the other 24% of the time. The only time neither of these groups hit is if the winner is a non-consecutive double or an all-even or all-odd combination.

Yes, that is very well known. I've had Joe's software for years. In the software a chart shows the frequency of CD's. Approximately every 2 draws is correct.

you are very welcome i am new to this spreadsheet stuff so it looks generic but the key is as lakerben has shown it does work. it is adjustable if you click the bottom number below your input number you can change in the formula bar the -4 for any other you want like -5 or -2 what ever suits your fancy. best of luck too all who use it.

I find it easier to subtract 1 and 5 from the middle number

A quickie look at PA last 10 draws found the pair straight as the back pair

you might find it straight as split, front pair or reverse so backtest just the pair first

Subtract one from the middle digit :9-1=8. Then -4 from the top digit 8

then use the vertical result 894. After the add one to the last digit etc. Simple.

This was never put in excel as far as I remember . It would be nice and the -1,-4 could be varied to other numbers with the pull down feature in excel.
