Regardless of the game as a system player there's very little difference in the amount of time spent picking combinations. When the wins are most likely to be the lowest ones, the best option seems to be the games with the higher jackpots and the better overall odds of winning something since I only play a couple of times weekly.

MM = 1:14.7

PB = 1:31.8

OCL = 1:53.6

RC5 = 1:8.7

While the odds are severely stack against someone winning, it's the idea of knowing others have done it by taking their dollar(or 2) and purchasing a ticket. I looked at the number of jackpot winners just on the PB list over the last 5 (10-14)years and it looks like we are averaging about 14 winners for the year. 2011 2014 were below that number - although we have almost as many winners that have collected in 2015 as we did in all of 2014. I started with the six number Ohio Lotto playing abbreviated wheels but thought it would be easier trying to trap five numbers when the Buckeye 5 started. Because you're playing combinations instead of numbers, it's obvious why the game with the highest jackpot is your game of choice.

With RC5 being a daily I would have only that day, stopping to think about it makes it almost impossible to get done before the drawing.

Actually I do track RC5 but dealing with almost 4000 drawings make the workout longer and until recently all my programs were designed to deal with about 2000 combinations. Besides With OCL, MM and PB I have a couple of days to think about doing the work outs. With RC5 being a daily I would have only that day, stopping to think about it makes it almost impossible to get done before the drawing.

The key is to remember the EXTREME high odds.......always remember that but without a ticket you aint gonna win. Not everyone will win jackpots -FACT and the ones who win are extremely lucky. 99% of people will never win a jackpot and 1 % of people will win a jackpot. Are you part of that 1

Are you ever tempted to play Rolling Cash 5 applying the same strategies you used on the two 5/6 OCL wins? Tracking the daily draws can be a nightmare to system players so I guess that's the reason you don't. Right

There was no mention of the last pb winner, a 37 y/o woman in Florida. They didnt report much about her except it was one quick pick for the 80 million dollar win. She said it wouldnt change her life much (then why play?) and she wanted to help her family and friends. See was a regular at the store where she purchased the ticket which seemed a bit on the downside.

Anyways, I'm happy for her. And if she can do it -- so can we

Just from my Pick3/4 experience: any numbers can hit any time in any combination no matter what has happened prior to any draw. Why? The same numbers that were in there last draw are still in there for the current draw. From this point, people are merely betting on the infinite odds of something either happening or not happening when they choose to try a system approach to such a large scale of numbers. I've never played QP that much since I usually play 5-10 lines and prefer to know what my picks will be before I even make out the play slips.

By picking my own numbers I avoid duplicates and combinations that have already hit. I also get a chance to play numbers I feel good about and even when I lose I have nothing to complain about since I picked them myself.

They draw balls (or in some cases, electrons), not numbers. You missed, period. The idea that you were close is just an illusion.

It's easy for some people to believe winning a lottery jackpot is only a matter of time after reading some of the nonsense that's some members post at LP. There are all kinds of unproven claims about systems that would have won and they have the results of back testing to prove it. Makes one wonders why would any one make such claims if they have nothing to sell.

I really get the feeling that you don't understand just how bad the odds are. For a lottery to pay out a $5 million prize they need to sell about $15 million worth of tickets. That means that even if you spend $1000 a year you can only expect to win that $1 million prize once every 15,000 years. Most of us will never get that good win.

First of all you have to look at the games you're playing. The highest odds games. Yes, everyone wants a life changing win. But we know it's not going to happen to 98% of us.

So why don't you try playing smaller games? One month just try playing Pick 3 or 4 instead. Even if you have a box win it would be more than what you're winning now. And if might pick your spirits up

Since only half of sales go to prizes, every time you hear of a player winning $25M that means some other players spent over $50M and won nothing. That prize money has to come from somewhere.

Never say never...I think about a lot of stories where you hear people have been playing for YEARS and then it seems they win. Which maybe explains why it also seems a lot of older people win too. But good for staying on a budget, as this is what I do as well.

I just did my monthly checking of my lottery tickets and this was my breakdown for spending. Bought 4 Powerball tickets with Powerplay, 4 Lucky for Life tickets and 1 Mass Cash. Total spent was 21 dollars and only 1 Lucky for Life ticket was a winner of 4 dollars for getting the 1 lucky ball. When I checked my mass cash ticket it said someone from my town won it on the day I played, unfortunately it wasn't me.
