A 6/39 lottery has 3,262,623 combinations, your odds of winning are the number of unique lines you are playing divided into 3,262,623.

A wheel (36,6,3,6) = roughy 85 lines so divide 3,263,623 by 85.

Thanks mate so if I enter a 6/39 lottery and I have a wheel with a 3 if 6 guarantee. what happens if 20 numbers are drawn? What are my ods that i have all 6 in one of my lines? Just trying to understand it. Thanks.

There are the odds of having the winning numbers among the various field sizes and then there are the odds of having the winning numbers on a line depending on the wheel.

For example a 6/49 game is 13.9 million combinations so your odds of one combination being correct is one in 13.9 million. However if you could play 12 numbers the odds of having the 6 among your 12 drop to 1 in 15,134 but the odds of having all 6 winning numbers on a line are 1 in 924 (think full wheel (12,6,6,6)=924) li... Ok so if I am using a guaranteed 3 if 6 wheel and the 6 winning numbers come up from my batch I am guaranteed to have at least 3 numbers in 1 line. This is understood but what happens if by chance 12 numbers where drawn and i was using a 3 if 6 wheel? Would that mean that I would then have 6 if 6? what if 18 numbers where drawn? how does this work?
