Some info is getting reported in media: The New York State Lottery's Numbers and Win4 games will get easier Sunday with the close enough option.

With the new close enough wager type you can win a prize even if your numbers don't match exactly, but are off by one in each position.

Players can choose one, two, three or four-digit close enough options.

For example, if the number drawn is 434, you win if you played 334, 433 or 534 with the one-digit option. With the two-digit option you win... [ More ]

tony NYL the close enough payouts are about half of NC - there a link somewhere on the win4 thread to the rules

Don't bet on it NY lottery has a horrible reputation when it comes to promoting their games. If you go to the north Carolina lottery website, they have the close enough game and they explain it, the possibilities and payoffs. And don't be surprised NY probably gets Chintzy with payouts.
