A buddy of mine swears on tickets # 8 and tickets # 11 and will only buy $20.00 tickets with those numbers.

Personally, I think it's totally random.

Recently I've seen:

My Tickets:

Golden Ticket #43- $125 winner (just had a feeling that day about that one)

Instant Millionaire #003- $50 winner

Quick $600 #005 and 007- $50 winners

Other winners I've seen recently:

Instant Millionaire and $3m Frenzy Ticket #001- $500 winners

7-11-21 Ticket #23- $1,200 winner

If I'm playing the $10 and up I stick with numbers 001-010 mostly.

yup had a 500 on instant millionaire on 11 but that was way back when

like 49 but for some reason it not paying off like it used to

Only 500 I remember was number 11 or 12. In NY 8-13 is hot. That pattern continues to the end of the thirties, where the last ten are duds or rly gud.

Number fifty used to hit 50 or 100 much of the time, as did number 1-5. I don't play nearly as much as I used to, so I don't know the patterns. No amount of logic can really break these games. Well it can if your time is that valuable.

Hey guys...

Thanks for the input. I did get a 5K winning $1 scratcher on number 299. I seem to do better with wins at the beginning and the end of the roll... but wondered if the $500/$1000 and up winners were at the ends of in the middle of the rolls?

A few years ago a Mathematician figured out the serial numbers on scratches and turned his secret to the lottery officials, and they discontinued the game. I believe the Lottery guys changed the parameters. Maybe not, ha.

What's 'big'?

$1,000's are good at 006-010 and 013 .... 026 - 029 on $20's here in PA

I found a $5k a low number.

$25k mid-range if I remember right.

As far as bigger, since the ratio of big prizes to junk is really low...(4/5 tops in 6 - 7 Mil)

I believe there is no pattern there worth deciphering....they are where they are lol.

My experience in Florida is that I've had better luck at the end of the roll on most games. I usually only play the $20 or $25 dollar games. Overall, I don't know that I've seen a definitive enough pattern to say it makes a huge difference. But you never know.

Can anyone tell me if you have had a BIG win on a scratch off ticket and if so did you pay attention to what number on the roll the winning ticket was?

I am trying to determine if there is an strategy possible for buying a winning scratch other than it being the right roll! LOL

Are those big winners at the beginning of the roll or the end of the roll? Be interesting to see the outcome of the responses. to see which end weighs in? If at all?
