Zen...me...you kidding? Vegans actually have higher free testosterone and nitric oxide levels than meat eaters. Alot of Vegans keep quiet about it because they don't want to be associated with the save the environment and ride your bike crowd that became known for the movement.

I agree with the sentiment expressed here. My wife and I keep no secrets from each other and we can talk about anything. She knows I play the lottery, but it normally isn't more than $10/week. I play Powerball, Lotto, Easy 5, and Megamillions twice a week and that's $10. I play a few scratchers once in a while and don't always tell her about those, but it's rare and not much money anyway, so it doesn't matter. Everyone has their vice yours may be Lotto but she has hers as well. As long as you can pay your bills I don't see the problem in playing but some might say keeping it a secret is wrong.

Use these lines when telling her:

Honey I'm doing it for US

When WE win...

Besides I guarantee she'll be the first in line when you hit and a supportive spouse is less likely to be replaced with a newer, younger, less opinionated model (I joke I Joke).

Tell that to Verln Adamson, he won Supercash twice. Once in 2008 then again earlier this year. The first time he ran his ticket 4 times then in Feb he ran it 3 times. He claims to have a mathematical calculation that improves the odds but he won't tell anyone what it is. Sometimes persistence is rewarded.

I've been on other hobby-related boards, and sooner or later someone says 'how do I hide the all the new _______ I'm collecting from my spouse, I don't want him/her to know how much I'm spending'. Doesn't matter if it's audio gear, flashlights (yes there are flashlight collectors), whatever.

Those threads always remnd me that I'm happy to be single.

I think Teddi thinks at some point in time you will screw up and leave some major evidence lying around, thus your wife will drop the proverbial hatchet on your head. If my wife found out how much I spend on the lottery she'd kill me. LOL! I have a newly developed system and am confident I can hit the jackpot. I play Supercash and run the same ticket 5 times every day. 6 of 6 pays out 350K, 5 X 350K = $1,750,000...Even if I hit 5 of 6 that would be $2,500! If I hit the jackpot I'll post my strategy here.
