Oh man I had to pick up a second job for 9$/hr because my other one wasn't giving me enough money to play lottery. I still spent 70% of my check on big tickets because I knew there was a winner in there. Now I can't afford gas or basic food money or tolls. That's it I'm quitting until I get paid in three days, when I'll spend as much as it takes to pull a 500$ winner like you lucky guys. Or... OR..... OR

You Sir are an idiot. Stop coming up with excuses why you are buying tickets. Just stay away from all stores that sell them and do not carry cash if its that big of a problem for you.

Yeah ezcash is so annoying. Dude quit making new profiles and getting people to pray for you just cause your too immature to stop playing and like to whine about how much you spend everyday. I left myself splurge again and today was horrible, down over $200. I guess this work week will be like no other, no more scratch-offs forever! This MUST STOP, please provide advice. No more lotto, casino, or side bets, save money

I make $10/hour and work 14 hour shifts, I repair broken watches. I couldn't resist and today was also another loss, spent $100 and got back $20. Ouch

You seem to have a lot of discretionary income to spend. What do you do for a living ??? What is your day job ??? Maybe we all need to get a better paying day job , to have enough spare money $$$ left over to spend on the hobby of the lottery.

What happens if you need gas for your car? Yes, I planned on going to Atlantis in the Bahamas last year but because of this addiction I couldn't afford such a luxury. I am like you, one and I'm playing for hours, even if I hit a scunion I'll just reinvest and reinvest.

When I don't want to play I avoid all the stores that sell tickets. Go to Walmart instead of public. Stay away from the tickets. The less I play the easier it is to not want to play. I can go days without playing. My problem is I can't do the one and done. If I start scratching I'm at it for awhile - chasing wasting a lot of money. Yesterday I lost $230 so today I'm staying away from scratch offs. I'm keeping track this year so I can mentally see how much I'm loosing. I'm down over $500 for 2016... [ More ]

I did a small experiment tonight, drove around to a few different gas stations and spoke with each clerk for a few minutes about their personal opinions on the Florida Lottery. All of them told me they do not play. They all said that old people usually come in and buy the $25 ones and come back in after loosing each ticket, until they decide it's enough, then usually purchase beer and go home. In 2015, I lost over $4,000 in scratch-offs and in 2016 I am down over $900 so far. Today I lost $60, I just don't see any reason to keep playing, $500 wins do not get me so excited. What should I do? I def. could use the extra money if I stopped playing and maybe take a vacation but that's easier said than done. Today was a hard one cause I tried not to play until the clerk offered me some and I could not resist. Any advice on how to stop would be appreciated or feel free to post you're losses.... [ More ]
