Edit here, I do not use any machine scanners, I check the numbers myself. That routine will change WHEN I win although presently, how exactly remains to be seen.

yeah i get paid fortnightly, so i used to go the store after the last 2 weeks worth of games where played, and spend the cash, buy the tickets. scan the losers etc. write some notes. prob buy some shopping, and go home. now its all online there is no routine. i do it all from my chair.

I go to the grocery store in our town for lunch usually for a turkey sandwich from the deli ( on the best darn cheesy bread) and a cold bottle of sweet tea, a few times a week.

I usually have a few dollar bills crumpled up here and there, and I sort and separate them into dollar bills that are flat and smooth, and dollar bills that are old a crumpled.

Crumbled bills go to cashier for lunch, and if I have a few flat bills, they go in my Dream Vending Machine on my way out and I get PB, MM a... [ More ]

I tend to buy my tickets (4 different games) with my pre filled bet slip. I play one line for each game and I check my numbers the same day or next morning. Due to recent MM changes, I no longer play. I play Classic Lotto, Lucky for Life, Powerball and Rolling Cash.

A couple of hours after the drawing, I go to my state lottery page to see if anybody won and who sold the winning tickets. If it does not show the place where I bought my tickets (and it never has) I check my tickets the next morning with the scanners to see if I at least won a couple of bucks (also getting increasingly rarer).

Well, that is the post winning routine. Me, I have just been really anxious on the days that I have bought tickets for the drawings. I guess that after some time playing the game that I will get used to just buying a couple of tickets and not think much about it until well after the numbers have been drawn. You have the basic idea.

Buy a ticket check ticket A) File ticket to use against taxes on future win or B) Sign ticket, tell no one, secure legal and financial counselors before going to lottery headquarters. Since I am new to this whole lottery playing game, I feel a bit of anxiety on drawing days. I need to learn to just buy tickets and go about my business and let the drawing be an afterthought. It seems like I have read about many winners that looked at their tickets or had them scanned days later to then find out that they were a jackpot winner. I guess it is the whole newness to the game that I haven't arrived at that point just yet. I have been playing Mega Millions and Powerball. Wish me luck... [ More ]
