I have never won any 2nd chance prize.

Lots of winners now with the 500 entry rules have Mr. and Ms. tacked onto their names. I figure those people have created AT LEAST 1 new acct with the suffix. Probably more....

I remember discussion about the same guy winning fantasy 5 2nd chance multiple times in a short period of time. His last name was a city like Compton orsomething like that.

Who knows how the private accounting firm ACTUALLY picks the winners...

When CA Lottery got rid of jackpot 2nd chance pools, I pretty much stopped playing Scratchers all together, although it was one in many reasons why. I bet others did too, and this whole thing may have back fired on them.

This week's two pools - scratchers and superlotto - duds. I think the winners are mostly those who have access to hundreds of tossed tickets and can enter the monthly max of 500 and have multiple family members do it.

Over the last nearly 3 years I've had almost 7000 2nd Chance plays from who knows how many tickets -- admittedly most found not bought by me personally but once in a while I'd buy some tickets -- and have won zero times. Oh from the tickets I bought I'd win a small amount, most was $100 or thereabouts, I can't remember now, but not one 2nd Chance entry won. 2nd Chance? More like No Chance.

I gave up playing Scratchers months and months ago and haven't bothered to even log in to the CA lottery... [ More ]

I've never seen it. In fact I've only read here of one person in a state back east winning and that was bc so few people entered her odds were very good.

Well, almost done. There is one left for 750k to be drawn in April. Ending this promotion under the lame promise of more smaller prizes was a lie.
