Wow, sounds like your getting prettu frustrated. Remember that when you paste in your states draws from another spreadsheet over the existing yellow columns, paste VALUES only. Otherwise it will likely break the formulas. (Excel is touchy that way).

EDIT: I just changed the ## to the correct digits. It's weird, it was only like 10 of them, the whole rest of the 3k draws were fine. I don't know. Hopefully I didn't break anything lol.

FK IT, it's not working for me. I don't know why. I updated 2 draws. And they repeated in the other tabs. I copied pasted all draws up until 3096. Then tried to manually add 2 draws, one line at a time with the copy button. Doesn't work for me. Nothign does lol. I'm about to delete my account at lottery... [ More ]

Yes, the STATS workbook is meant to be updated after every single draw. So the COPY ROWS button is programmed to just work for ONE additional row at a time.

If you want to add more rows at once, say 35 more drawings, then you'll have to go to every tab, copy the last row and paste it down 35 times (highlight and drag works). Just make sure all the tabs end in the same draw number once you save the workbook.

Couldn't edit in time. I just downloaded a fresh new one, copied all the draws and then clicked save. Seems everything updated now. I see SUM 7 there now.

Just not at the top left. I must not understand that part lol.

So, if I had to guess. the SUM should be higher than SUM 14 right? I mean, could it keep going down? haha.

Thanks. for some reason my workbook is all screwed up. There's like blanks lines in some of the tabs. I wonder if it's because I was updating multiple draws at once. Going to have to start over.

Also, how do we update the sum trend chart? Unless I'm reading it wrong, but I think the SUM Trend is still from your draws.

A number of players have noticed that the first 100 or so rows of each sheet in the STATS workbook are just numbers, no formulas. The reason for this was the workbook I was using was very large and too slow with all its calculations (I was getting memory errors and such), that I selected a bunch of rows and turned them to just values to eliminate the need for the overhead for all the calculations. Let's see if I can answer all your questions:

The colors in the cells are Excels conditional formatting. Cells with the low values are white, with high values are green and varing colors for in between values. It makes it easier to spot high/low values.

The OD cells turn Orange when their values is -2 and 2 (which is very close to zero or being due now).

H/C cells are blue if cold (-1), white (or light blue) if neutral (0) and red if hot (1).

Wow today was super close. 290 came out.

Root 2 SUM 11 vTRAC SUM 9

1221 And then this is where it lost. The width. I noticed the width isn't as consistent. 290 Width 9. Looked like 5 should be right?

So for sake of Argument, say I chose 9.

Then we have 201, which came to 290 for todays draw. That Width filter, so close lol.

Do you have a key, to what the colors mean?

It seems the ones that have the most GREEN in all fields, rank the highest?

In your first video, on the Roots Tab, you were mentioning how Root 3 was closest to 0, but I never

understood what you meant.

In the video, you said Root SUM 3, was best because it was closest to 0. Does the different color shades, indicate values?

Then you said Root SUM 9 was the most overdue, but the OD tab has 8, forget the root 0, but 8 at... [ More ]

I will work on a way to create a table with the winning AHP Values and their ranking at the time of the draw. It may take a while; but it looks like a match function working off of your highlight of the winning value after the new draw is input and a short macro will do the trick.

Yes you can go back and pick other options on each tab just as long as you don't filter another rootsum. Yes the Root Sum in the yellow box on the RootSum tab will change each time you run the filter on the H/C tab (it was meant to be a convenience) so just remember to change the RootSum in the yellow box on the RootSum tab to the proper value for you to start another round of filtering. Otherwise you could edit the code for the H/C Filter Button.... [ More ]

Observation

It looks like you can go back to any tab after the Picks and run some of the other options; but; the Root changes after the picks. It appears that you have to set the root back to the one you just ran and then you can run the other options. Each time you go back you have to set the Root back to run some other options for the root.

In the bottom image you posted, at the bottom of that spreadsheet are four small rows labeled: Triad, Root, Sum, VT, OELH, W and H/C. In the 2nd row the Triad box is in YELLOW. When you know the results of the drawing you just prepared the sheet for, enter the result in that yellow cell. 060 was the result for the Virginia Pick 3 when I created the spreadsheets to post. One more question. I noticed you said in the video, and on the PDF File, that the last draw, would be in the Red highlighted Box.

This is on the RootSum Tab, the first page. Should this box update after every draw?

I copied and pasted from the stats page, onto the filters page. Pasted values and ETC.

Here was the last draw, It should be RootSUM 1.

Yep. I guess one way to help you or us, is to actually track everything individually, on another sheet. See what Roots, SUMs, vTrac SUMs, and everything else is most overdue. Then come back to here, or the FART Program, and choose what has the best chance of hitting. Interesting stuff. Will have to experiment more.

Yes, remember the AHP rankings are a decision support aid , not a decision maker and will NOT always be right.

This example is very close, they are both picked next 4 times, they are both close to being due (-4 and -6 are close), and the picks in the last 60 draws is close (10 versus 7), so a real judgement call here.

I didn't say the model was perfect, and will take time to get used to, and sometimes F.A.R.T. stinks!! But look how close it was, a 50:50 call. Isn't gaming fun?

This is pretty crazy. But I kind of got stuck here. Midday draw was 284. 284 on the vTrac page shows up as vTrac SUM 12. But vTrac SUM 7 would have been the optimal play as far as the chart goes right? Would have missed it, but still intersting how it is all playing out as you go across the tabs.

Make sure you paste-special values if copying from another spreadsheet.

I just updated it with the FLA Pick 3 results going back to 1/1/2012 and it worked. NOTE: That it will take a long time to calculate when you save the STATS spreadsheet. It is recalculating each cell for the new data you put in. Give it a minute or 3.

the video says to copy rows before the sheet is calculated so that previous values are preserved for the tables and formulas. I am going to try to run Ca. and leave the most current game out. hopefully the sheet corrects itself when the new game is added per the video instructions.

Yes. Just paste in your Penn Pick 3 Drawings from 1/1/2012 over the current entries. If you don't have that many, paste in as much as you can and delete the excess rows on EACH SHEET up to the Export sheet. For example : if all you have is 1000 rows, delete from 1001 - 3089 on each sheet. If you mess up you can always down load it again.

I appologize for that. I believe it was the size of the movie file that was using too much bandwidth.

The labels in the Short sum table I posted are:

D60 - the number of times a short sum was picked in the last 60 drawings (day and evening).

OD - overdue (skips - average skips)

N - Next (or followers some call it) - the number of times a short sum has shown up next after the previous drawing's short sum (for the last 60 draws).

H/C - Hot/Cold - Hot (1) = picked 6 times in last 60 draws, Cold (-1) = less than 6, Neutral (0) = exactly 6.

This is the current stats for Short Sums from the last 60 draws from the Virginia Lottery Pick 3 (both day and evening games are used).

Short Sums 0 and 1 are highly ranked to be picked next (this evenings game).

I have a couple of spreadsheets I use to do this. One is very large and unwieldly and needs to be cleaned up some. I export the database to another spreadsheet to do the filtering. I use Excel's AdvancedFilter tool, it's great. I'd have to clean up both before posting them for others to download and use.
