Yes, it's pretty bad. Been to a few stores and noticed that it's not moving as fast as other newer tickets. Hopefully that will be a wake-up call to never produce this type of ticket again.

On the positive side it does have 204,208 top prizes remaining

So the returns on a book would be int[100(50/40)] + 50(50/25) + 25(50/12.5) = 300. 400 for a good book. Highly unlikely to have a loaded book if each book needs a 100 in it. Easily the only book I'd never buy. Seriously wtf.

I use int to calculate returns because it's more realistic to estimate low on books, even if the decimal is out to .9997.

For the longest time it was the dollar and two dollar tickets that people were buying in the hopes of getting a quick 50 or 100 bucks.

With this new ticket and for the consumer, the instant scratch off ticket business seems to be taking a step backwards.

The $10 tickets in New York have gone downhill ever since the introduction of that Quick 600 ticket. I am guessing that ticket was originally released to see how the public would respond in terms of purchasing a lower prize level ticket and I'm also guessing that it did rather well, hence the introduction in a new series of lower prized tickets designed to look like $5 tickets but costing twice as much.

Wow, so it seems I'm the odd one out here thinking this ticket is a good idea. I think it is a nice option for people who want to make smaller gambles to try to hit a quick $50 or $100 win to multiply their pocket cash.

It clearly isn't designed to have life changing prizes . I personally like the idea of this game, and think the odds seem pretty good.

Thanks I forgot to take into account all the tickets. Looking at it from average stack, I was coming up with 7.24. Nevertheless not a good one. It doesn't even give a chance for a decent size prize.

We have this same $10 ticket in Ga, it's called Win either $50 or $100.

Way better odds that in your state though with 1 in 15 for $50, and 1 in 29 for $100.

Just another easy cash cow ticket for this state lotteries if you ask me.

The front of the ticket says at least 1 $100 winner in the pack. It's NY lotto. Biggest FN rip off of any lotto.

I could only find the current unclaimed number of $100 and $50 prizes on the NY Lottery website, but based on that, there should be are approximately 8,650,680 tickets in this game, 216,267 $100 prizes, 346,076 $50 prizes, and 692,152 $25 prizes, so the overall odds are 8,650,680 / (216,267 + 346,076 + 692,152) = 6.89.

This is mind boggling to me. I don't understand how they find their odds for this game. How can they have overall odds of winning being 1 in 6.9 when none of the chances of winning is less than 1 in 12.5. Something wrong here. On the surface of it, it appears to be the worse ticket I have ever seen. Seriously

I will give it a try over the weekend and report back. Sounds like, if there are 50 tickets to a roll then every fifth ticket may be at least a $25.00 winner with an average payout of about $250. But the website also reports that there is at least one $100 ticket in each roll so the payout may be bigger.

Not great, not bad. We'll see.

P.S. has anyone heard from yellowpig? I'd be interested to get his thoughts on this scratcher.

Wow, this is actually a really cool scratchoff game. I wish we had one in Florida. I hope it is successful so other states mimic it. The odds sound pretty fair.

I'd love to see some posters share their results from buying these. The thought of being able to take a spare $10 bill, and multiply it 10x is pretty darn cool.
