It's only possible if there is no winner and it keeps rolling.

As the jackpot increases, so do sales. That increases the chances of someone hitting as well as feeding the jackpot fire. If no winner, see line above.

But to the average occasional player, it does seem like it changes the odds.Most people are not math experts, probability is one of those things that no cares about after they graduate high school.

More people play when the jackpots are larger--that doesn't change the odds--just increases the number of tickets sold.

How often do you see someone win a under 100 Million jackpot? Tiny jackpots rarely have a winner and even more rarely get any media coverage.

Maybe... I suppose if it can rollover as much as MM did during its last record stretch.

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the billion $ JP... Takes longer for non regular players to jump in and play to get the JP moving again.
