NO, I really don't want to keep those alive that deserve the death penalty. Selling drugs does not deserve death penalty and would have to serve time.

We could always send criminals off to fight terrorism. If they come back alive after 4 tours, they can go free.

Wasn't there a winner that sold Meth? No need to cross any borders for that.

If the money is being used in the commision of a crime it can be siezed. They probably wouldn't even have access to the money for a lawyer.

As far as buying drugs. I don't care of you get high as a kite as long as you're not harming anyone else or damaging someone else's property.

Some people will never be satisfied even after receiving such a blessing /gift. Shame

I don't think lynching or beating to death would be appropriate punishment. A nice long jail sentence would make the offender suffer for a longer time.

He was probably selling drugs before the win, but doing it on a bigger scale after the win with the cash injection.

I seem to recall something about a guy, possibly Columbian, who won the California(?) lottery quite a few years back it turned out he was an illegal alien with international warrants for major league drug smuggling. All he got was prison no prize.

Drug dealers should receive the maximum penalty under the law. How a lottery winner can sell drugs is beyond my comprehension. Most of the drugs in the US come across our southern border. Just another reason to vote for.... You know who.

Good Poll but there is Not enough information here to really say what punishment fits the crime should be, the first 3 choices seem to be extreme for a bag of weed.. maybe a 30 day rehab (No No No). RIP Amy Winehouse.

Not sure people are raised this way with all the peer pressure out there in the world hanging around the wrong crowd or from their so called friends that pulls them right in to drugs and other bad things, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, how old the winner was etc....... [ More ]

It is the work of the judge. Using a big amount of money is being harder punished, I think. The person won that much money and can do without dealing and using. You don't have to become an Escobar.

I don't give the option for cash against not in prison, or just 6 months to 5 years. To my opinion that is not enough. Some just walk out of prison and start again. That is like an alcoholic saying, I'll never drink again. Or, how many times did... [ More ]

Seems like the wrong forum, but I believe they should get whatever anyone else gets for buying and selling drugs. I don't think any of your options reflect that. You are suggesting that someone should get a harsher penalty for committing a crime if they have been a lottery winner
