The only way to look at it.. On a more positive note hoping it will be you.. I think more likely then not someone is going to win a million dollars every draw.. Dont you see its only the bonus ball that keeps people from the jackpot.. Other then that almost every draw someone or a few people will score a million.. Stop being greedy and watching the jackpot has more astronomical odds then the 5 of 5 itself.. Someone will win i hope its me when i play the jackpot games.. Patience

The top 1% of population, in terms of worth, own 50% of the worlds wealth. They do have control over their finances, thus ultimately half the worlds wealth as a result. This does not, however, have anything to do with your ability to win the lottery. There is not an agency that determines if you are worth winning any amount. You win the lottery because the numbers on your ticket was selected through a random process. The odds are astronomical and explains why almost everyone does not win. It kind of baffles me when people on LP say they wait to play until the jackpot is high as if the jackpot has anything to do with their capability to win.

You missing the point Meatman : Bottom line, someone has to win. It does not matter how many tickets you purchase, the minute the ping pong balls start spinning- it's anyone's game. Fate has nothing to do with it. It's ALL about the Spin! And the Spin cannot be controlled- period. Fate be darned.

I think it's a combination of both luck and fate.

One of the quotes in your post describes something that I think is key, and that's persistence. How many times have you read a quote by a winner that basically says; I've played the lottery for years but I only won small prizes. ? That's my story. That's everybody's story.
