Speaking of confusing, it appears from the retailer info posted awhile back, one can win multiple times with the Wild Ball.

For example, play 500 straight for 50 cents with Wild Ball. 500 is drawn along with Wild Ball 0, one could win $450. $250 for straight + $100 for wild in 2nd position + $100 for wild in third position.

Correct. Wild Ball 1 is what he needed; did not win. Concept is good, but calling it Wild Ball can lead to misunderstanding. It seems the PA Lottery is doing the best it can to educate players.

Adding Wild Ball is the easiest way to improving the payback of any Pick-X game. Pick-X base games is around 50% overall payback. Adding Wild Ball improves that to 55%+. Could just be a software add on conflict at the store you had it scanned.

take the ticket to your nearest lottery office.

wild replaces the original pick four drawn number not your pick four numbers?

I used Wildcard and can't understand why my ticket didn't win. I played 6801 straight on the evening of 9-14-16. The wildcard number chosen was the number 6. The number picked was 6806. In this scenario the wildcard of 6 should replace my forth digit (1). Somehow, I'm being informed that this is not a winner. I checked the rules multiple times and don't understand why this wasn't a winner.

Pick 4 picked: 6806

Details of the game was posted recently in the PA Bulletin. Wild Ball is essentially another side-bet. However, it can't be played by itself; must always be paired with another wager, such as straight, box, etc. Assuming I'm calculating correctly, it appears the payback on Wild Ball is ~60-64% depending on the Pick game and wager type it's played with. If true, Wild Ball is a worthwhile wager for players.

For example, say one plays 500 in the Pick-3. Some possible outcomes:

I haven't seen the gray machines Chris$. And they take debit cards? Wow, I know of some stores that will do that

but boy are they making it easy for players. No cash, no problem. So another new thing to hit PA...can't say they're

not trying to accommodate.

any of you seen the new grey machines for the lotto now?

they accept debit cards and are very advanced compared

to the normal yellow and green ivms.

the liquor store by me was one of the first in the whole state

to have one... it's been in for a week. I like it so far.

I'll take a pic and post it another day. kinda different for

pa to do something more advanced like this...

TY kreative! That explains a lot, ty for finding that for me. The new slips shouldn't be put out just yet, I filled them in

right but they just wouldn't read. I know it wasn't the machine because I had a couple older slips that read just fine

and they did not have the Wild add on box on them. So if anyone wants to use slips and sees the WILD box on them,

try and find older regular ones I guess. Better than wasting the time. I'm curious what the payouts will be for the extra

Ok so where's the news on the new box option on the PA playslips...it's WILD card or something of

that nature..all I know was my cards didn't work when I filled them in, I'm guessing the new play slips didn't

register in the terminal because the game extra hasn't been started yet? I asked the clerk but they knew

nothing. I checked the website, nothing I saw there. Does anyone know what this is and the details of it?
