The basic BASIC pattern in Pick 3 is where that middle digit is in relation to the other two.

Does it go up like 176?

Or does it go down like 716?

Some people call it vectoring.

What we do know is what goes up will come down and what goes down will come up. Look at your drawing to determine the average of the up and down movement.
