Pre-drawings do not matter.

Trends are based on a given set of results within X time frame. If someone only has access to the actual drawings then the actual drawings establish the baseline trend data. If a pattern is valid it will appear with the same frequency in the published drawings as it would the totals including the pre-drawings. The instances where a pattern hits during the pre-drawings are therefore irrelevant.

I thought I'd add some additional background information to my post above. In case anyone is wondering how I discovered the information I posted about #17, I have a copy of Gail Howard's Advantage Plus software and I use it to track Take5's numbers. It took me a quite a while to spot the trend that was happening with #17 as I had to make an Excel spreadsheet with historical Take5 data on it. With regard to point #3 in the above post ( even seemingly random numbers have short term long term patterns ) there has been a long term pattern/trend with one number being hot in New York's Take5 (5/39 matrix) that has been happening since 2010. #17 has been hot since 2010, and had the most hits per year from 1/1/2014 until 12/31/2016. Typically, the number with the most hits per year has 58 to 59 hits. Only twice since 2010, has a number exceeded 59 hits with 60 or 61 hits in one calendar yea... [ More ]

I'm not a big player, I'm a biologist by training, so my knowledge is in that field. When I first started playing PB a few years ago, I tried to find a trend or pattern. And while I did find evidence that some numbers came up with more frequency than others, and some numbers hardly came up at all, in order to make those trends work for me, would require way more money than I'd be willing to invest. Sampling! You don't have to eat the whole pot of soup to know what it taste like, simple use a clean spoon to gather a sample to taste.

Same with lottery drawings, there's no reason pre-test drawings will reveal something different than the actual drawings reveal.

I find patterns by just looking at the actual drawings. I've never checked the test drawings to see if they have the same patterns, I assume they do.

The purpose of the pre post test is to eliminate the proof of a pattern i.e. ticket holder's numbers can hit or have it but the official results evidence are wiped out within the so called tests - ostensibly for player's sake

Amber, how many times have we discussed such detectable patterns? Then, how many times has it been discussed here that those pre-tests actually do matter? In all honesty, unless the pre-test results are post in ample time for the player to review and adjust their picks accordingly, the lotteries will maintain a distinct advantage for sure. I totally concur with amber's point, why do the operators really do pre post tests and even change machines if not to break up and interrupt any methodology tracking rhyme, rhythm or reason for upcoming connecting associated numeric trends. Many of the casino's countermeasures are for the same reason

If roulette wasn't beatable why do casinos need countermeasures ~CT)

Patterns do exist. However there are so many different variables and patterns ad infinitum, ,that without some sort of compiling ability, the patterns remain largely hidden. Regarding pre-draws, Gail Howard talks about it in her book and I concur with her authority, The biggest variable is the doubting human mind and an undisciplined wage betting strategy and the inablility to focus on one pattern for an extended period of time. There is always another pattern to discover.

LP forums are full of posts from experienced people with great ideas to help you recognize these trends and capitalize on them.

From Digits out.....repeat digits...combo formation from previous draws....pairs...and others.

Read, use the search function, and learn.

Yes they do exist, everything that moves constantly has a pattern that can be roughly detected, unfortunately for bad decisions by the officials, those patterns go right out the window when pre-tests are introduced. Some systems are immune to this, and those are the ones I'm attracted to. Texas is the only state that I'm aware of that releases it's pre-draw results.
