Some weeks ago there was an article in the lp news section that the store owners strongly opposed online services because the lotto gets people into the store.

It might just make their IT more expensive.

If that person does not return all they have is an inactive account in a database.

Unless you could set it up to auto-renew. In general I'm shocked at how stone age some lottery sites look. The Mega and Powerball website especially look like they were designed in the mid 90s. Or lo... [ More ]

Lottery subscriptions

If I can buy a lottery ticket when I visit a state ....legally.

Why then limit mobile sales or online subscription to residents. The technology is there to geolocate where you are at the time of purchase if the requirement is for you to be physically within the state.

I think it might actually increase revenue of it where possible.....I would certainly be visiting the anonymous states far more often
