Depends on how many millions. If it's $5 mil, l would put the winning ticket in a book on the shelf for say 6 months.Now $15-$20 million, l will immediately get off the couch spring into action.

Sign the front and back of the ticket. Take a picture of it. Put it in my safety deposit box until I was ready to collect.

The rest would depend on how many millions, but for anything over 4 million after taxes in my pocket I would begin the process of shutting down my life by moving to a temporary residence, submit my 2 week notice and begin getting the accounts in place needed to receive the money. It would probably be a good month before I collected the money.

I would need umbrella insurance as well.

Legal, Financial, and possibly a public relation firm.
